CHURCH

IN PROCESS

Part of being a good steward is making the most of what you have been given.
We have found that we had a wasted space in the church and areas of opportunity that space could fill. So early this year, we began a remodeling process that would take the empty back area of the sanctuary and convert it into multiple space, each for their own purpose.

More Fellowship Space
First and foremost we're nearly doubling the space of our lobby to create a comfortable, inviting, and spacious area for welcoming, fellowship, coffee, and small gatherings.

Classroom / Sunday School Room
We're creating a downstairs classroom space that can be used for small groups, adult Sunday schools, and more. We have wanted to create more opportunities for folks to study the Word together in the church. We anticipate the creation of new studies and groups that can take advantage of this space.

Cry Room
As a family church, we want to support parents and their needs as they raise their littles. Our new cry room will allow nursing mothers a more private space if they should wish it. It will also allow parents with children with special needs or children who are struggling adjusting to the environment to provide extra care while still remaining a part of the service.

Play Area
We want to create an fun and comfortable environment for the kids as well. So we're creating a playground/play area connected to the lobby where the kids can have fun before and after church.

Children's Ministry
We're also using this as an opportunity to lay the groundwork for future expansions of the children's ministry by building out the second floor ready to support future additions.

OUR PLAN

Timeline
We hope to have the project fully completed before the fall of 2026 and have already made great progress in our efforts. There is currently some framing, drywall, and decking work to be done. Then there will be a lot of finish work including trim, flooring, and more.

Budget
Our goal is to complete this whole project for $30,000 with volunteer labor. Our staff have all gotten involved as well as many of our church members. We're seeking potential grants to help with the budget, but we're also accepting offerings above and beyond regular giving which are designated for this purpose to help us get the project completed.
